But first a few words from Susan herself-

Hello people of Perth and welcome to my comedy den.

As an internationally famous comedian I have had the luxury of playing some of the best comedy rooms of the world and even the odd palace. But before my career really took off I spent the best part of a decade performing in the back rooms of dodgy pubs and bland function rooms. I have played in rooms where the only clientele were three drunken miners and a skimpy called Chastity. I’ve played to hordes of university students who were so drunk that they thought they were in a “Structure, Thought and Reality” lecture and insisted on taking notes on the beer coasters. I’ve even performed to the ladies of the Donnybrook CWA - a raunchier bunch of women you will never find. I have seen it all and lived to joke about it. So now I have built Lazy Susan’s Comedy Den with the purpose of creating a room where the audiences can be comfortable, the comics can be at home and the laughs can flow freely. ENJOY!!!!  -  Susan-

In an intimate and funky refurbished theatre above the Brisbane Hotel, Perth’s newest entertainment gem can be found. Lazy Susan’s Comedy Den provides WA audiences with comedy of a national standard that is easily accessible and side-splittingly funny. Lazy Susan’s is dedicated to the creation, production and performance of original comedy by Western Australian artists.
